On the other hand, Impact Organizations around the world implement thousands of projects every year that align with the private sector’s sustainability goals. These impact organizations have a growing need to diversify their funding sources to corporate and individual giving but lack the resources needed to connect to these funding sources. Koru is the answer.

Despite how it sounds, we’ve made the process quick and easy. There are four quick steps. First, a company makes a profile and answers 5 quick questions. Second, our research-backed algorithm searches our database of thousands of active projects and the platform recommends a shortlist of projects most aligned with a company’s strategic and tactical goals. Third, if there is interest in the opportunity, the impact organization will be notified and both parties will be guided through the partnership process. Fourth, conversation will follow, terms will be set, contracts will be sent and both parties can complete grants and investments through their typical channels.

Before allowing an organization’s program to find its way onto the platform, we conduct the necessary due diligence on both the impact organization and the work they’re aiming to do with your investment. This due diligence ranges from crossing past projects with current ones, reaching out to previous partners, or even conducting a full-scale organization audit.

Don’t worry, we have made the process as simple as possible for impact organizations! Once an approved program is posted to our platform, if a corporation expresses interest in your work, you will get notified on the platform and via email. If you’re interested in chatting with a representative from the company, you can return the interest by clicking ‘Interested’ and from there, you will be placed in a chat with the company.

Absolutely not. Koru is not a public database. Paying customers are the only users that will have access to our organization and the platform.
There will be no public sharing or advertisements utilizing any of our internal entities. We do, however, hope to share success stories with our followers following the creation of a successful partnership, but this will only be a case-by-case basis and only after specific approval by you.
